CPU & Memory Stats in phpmyadmin

It is observed that in phpmyadmin, under the status -> monitor tab only top 3 graphs work while the bottom three graphs don’t. Below is a simple addition that needs to be done to enable bottom 3 graphs as well.

sudo nano /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf
add : :/proc/meminfo:/proc/stat at the end of the line
php_admin_value open_basedir`

Before adding the above code the line looks like:
php_admin_value open_basedir /usr/share/phpmyadmin/:/etc/phpmyadmin/:/var/lib/phpmyadmin/:/usr/share/php/php-gettext/:/usr/share/javascript/

statusmonitor1

After adding the code
php_admin_value open_basedir /usr/share/phpmyadmin/:/etc/phpmyadmin/:/var/lib/phpmyadmin/:/usr/share/php/php-gettext/:/usr/share/javascript/:/proc/meminfo:/proc/stat

    • Hey – it works dude. Tried by freshly installed debian jessie…downloaded right now the minimal install of 247 MB and freshly installed phpmyadmin, mysql 5.5, php5 and apache2. After than just added :/proc/meminfo:/proc/stat in /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf file at the location

      the line should like this
      php_admin_value open_basedir /usr/share/phpmyadmin/:/etc/phpmyadmin/:/var/lib/phpmyadmin/:/usr/share/php/php-gettext/:/usr/share/javascript/:/usr/share/php/tcpdf/:/proc/meminfo:/proc/stat

      Cheers
